Following the success of the International Marimba Festival Linz 2004 and the International Marimba Competition 2006, the Classic Concert Music Group – in collaboration with the renowned International Summer Academy Salzburg – is hosting an International Marimba Festival for marimbists of all ages and nationalities. The Festival will take place at the University Mozarteum Salzburg from the 16th to the 28rd of July 2007 in Salzburg – the historical Austrian city, home of the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
