MID Europe festival 2006

This summer, from July 11 to 16, Adams will be presented at MID Europe, the largest wind orchestra festival in Europe. In 1997, the WASBE festival took place in Schladming. The success of that event was the inspiration to create something similar — and thus MID Europe was born.
For the first time in the history of the festival, all participating ensembles will perform using Adams percussion instruments. Around 40 orchestras from all over the world will gather in Schladming for a fantastic and musical week. Besides the competition, there will be several clinics and workshops, as well as a small fair where Adams Musical Instruments will also be represented.
