Raúl Sabiote-Sánchez
Raúl Sabiote-Sánchez (Almería, 1998) is a Spanish euphonium soloist and conductor based in Lucerne, Switzerland. Recognised for his versatility as both a performer and conductor, he leads an international career collaborating with orchestras, wind ensembles, and chamber groups across Europe.

He graduated from the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears and later completed his Master’s degree in Music Performance with distinction at the Hochschule Luzern (Switzerland), studying with Thomas Rüedi and Glenn van Looy. Throughout his artistic development, he has worked with internationally renowned soloists and pedagogues, helping shape a refined and distinctive musical voice.
As a soloist and guest artist, he has collaborated with ensembles such as the Philharmonia Zürich (Orchester der Oper Zürich), Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, and the RTVE Symphony Orchestra. His performances have taken place in renowned venues including the Palau de la Música Catalana and Madrid’s Teatro Monumental.
Internationally, he has received awards at several competitions, including prizes at the Juventudes Musicales de España Competition and the Lieksa International Euphonium Competition. These distinctions are complemented by advanced studies in orchestral and wind band conducting at the Hochschule Luzern under the guidance of Michael Bach and Hervé Grélat.
In 2025, he released his debut album Reminiscencias, dedicated to European Romantic and early modern repertoire in his own adaptations for euphonium and piano, further establishing his artistic profile on the international stage.
Alongside his performing and conducting career, Raúl Sabiote-Sánchez is actively engaged in teaching, giving masterclasses and leading educational activities at conservatories, courses, and festivals in Spain and abroad. He is the Founder and Artistic Director of the D’Gata Brass Week (Almería, Spain), an international brass festival dedicated to high-level training, outreach, and the development of young talents.
Raúl plays an Adams Custom E1 featuring a 0.55 mm sterling silver bell and a sterling silver leadpipe.
