Eduard Gisbert

Eduard Gisbert Vañó began his euphonium studies at the Escola de Música of the Associació Unió Musical de Bocairent and continued at the Conservatori Professional Melcior Gomis in Ontinyent.

In 2017 he joined the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valencia to study with Eduardo Nogueroles, completing his professional degree with the Extraordinary Final Prize.
In 2023 he graduated from the Conservatorio Superior de Música “Joaquín Rodrigo” de Valencia under Professor Miguel Moreno, receiving the Extraordinary Final Degree Award unanimously. In that same year, he moved to Lyon to pursue a master’s degree at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon (France) with euphonium-soloist Bastien Baumet, a programme he will complete in 2025.

He has been awarded in numerous competitions, among them:
- First Prize at the Antibes International Euphonium Competition 2023 (France)
- Second Prize at the New Avant Garde Music Competition ITEC 2025
- First Prize in Category A of XX Concurso Nacional de Jóvenes Intérpretes Ciudad de Xàtiva 2023
- First Prize and Honorary Mention for highest score in the V, VII, VIII, IX and X editions of Concurso Nacional de Tuba Ciudad de Villajoyosa
- First Prize in Category B of XIX Concurso Nacional de Jóvenes Intérpretes Ciudad de Xàtiva 2020
- First Prize at the AETYB Competition 2018 in Madrid
- Winner in three editions of Jóvenes Talentos Musicales (CaixaBank) 2019, 2020, 2021
- First Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition ITEC 2025 with the LyNova Quartet

He has been invited to festivals such as the Numskull Brass Festival 2025, AETYB congresses Málaga 2022 and Santiago de Compostela 2024, ITEC Valencia 2025, and the Festival Spanish Brass Alzira 2019.

As a soloist, he has performed with the Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Alicante, Banda del Ateneo Musical de Cullera, Banda de la Associació Unió Musical de Bocairent, Banda AETYB Madrid, the Brass Band of the Conservatorio Superior de Valencia, among others.
In the orchestral field, he has collaborated with the Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana under Mark Elder and with ADDA Simfònica under Josep Vicent. He also performed with Spanish Brass Ensemble at SBALZ 2021 and BrassUrround 2022.

He is currently a member of the LyNova Quartet (formed 2023 in Lyon, awarded First Prize at ITEC 2025), selected for the Association Jeunes Talents. Their aim: explore, develop and disseminate the euphonium repertoire through transcriptions, arrangements and new works, with concerts in France, Italy, Slovenia, Spain and Germany.

As a soloist he has also developed projects with the Aletheia Quartet and Euterpe Quartet, a repertoire of transcriptions across a wide stylistic range making evident the versatility of the euphonium. In chamber music he has taken part in projects such as Grupo de Cámara D3 (with pianist Maria Linares and clarinettist Neus Molero), Tecles e Vents and Euffonía.

Since 2024 he is a Young Artist of the Fundación Sanganxa.
