Danny Jones
Starting his musical journey at the age of ten with Blackpool Brass, Danny Jones has forged a stellar career that blends musical excellence, military service, and elite banding. A graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, he earned First Class Honours along with the highest mark in his year, and collected multiple solo performance awards during his studies

Danny went on to join British Army Band Tidworth, where he won their prestigious Blue Riband Solo Competition, and now performs with The Regimental Band of The Royal Welsh.
On the brass banding front, Danny has held prominent solo euphonium positions with Llwydcoed and Woodfalls before taking up the seat with Aldbourne Band, where he spent several years establishing himself as a leading voice. His musicianship and leadership then earned him a place in the euphonium section of the world-renowned Cory Band. In 2025, Danny returned to Aldbourne to resume his role as solo euphonium with the reigning West of England Area champion.
