Yi Yang
Yi Yang currently serves as the Director of Bands and Lecturer of Tuba at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music in Central China.
The Wuhan Conservatory of Music Symphonic Band performs numerous of concerts each year, having performed under the baton of such distinguished conductors as Hai Yu(China), Dr. Tiantee Lee (Singapore), Alex Schillings (Netherlands), Phillip Ferro (France), and Danh Pham (USA). In 2016, Mr. Yang and the Band hosted the China Conducting Contest, an appointment awarded to the ensemble by the World Music Contest organization in the Netherlands. The Wuhan Conservatory of Music Symphonic Band was the featured ensemble.

In addition to his duties at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music, Mr. Yang also teaches at Huazhong Agricultural University, where he leads their Symphonic Band to great acclaim.
Mr. Yang's tuba teachers include Howkui Song and Yue Gao. His conducting teachers include Dr. Tiantee Lee (SGP), Prof. Alex Schillings (NL), and Prof. Phillip Ferro(FRA). Mr. Yang received both is bachelors and masters degrees from the Wuhan Conservatory of Music.
