Freer Heavy Orchestral Hickory Signature Model

The new 2012 version of the heavy orchestral stick is what everyone always wanted. The classic heavy orchestral shape is now elongated and includes the taper in the back to match the length of the general and long bead general models for a fuller and fatter sound. The length and taper are the only changes to this model which was originally inspired by some vintage Charlie Wilcoxon models from the early 1950’s. Ultra select hickory, precision matched, pitched and weighed. A great stick for all loud playing such as Shostakovitch symphonies or where you just want to use a larger snare drum. Even a great choice for Bartok Concerto for Orchestra because of its more legato sound. Effortless to roll with and just heavy enough stay versatile and easy to maneuver.
