Adams Percussion

Royal visit

The Dutch Crown Prince Willem-Alexander has been visiting Adams Musical Instruments. The company won the prestigious King William 1 Award in 2010 and was honoured with this royal visit.  This King William 1 Award is presented every two years by the King William 1 Foundation, of which the Prince is honorary chairman.

A wind band formed by Adams employees played a piece of music when our royal highness, Prince Willem-Alexander arrived at the Adams factory in Ittervoort. During his working visit, the Prince had a tour in the factory and chatted with employees in all the different sections of the company. One of the highlights of his visit was the Prince pressing a copper timpani bowl.

Prince Willem-Alexander was deeply impressed about the unique production methods at Adams Musical Instruments. He once again praised Adams’  innovation, courage and decisiveness in exporting real Dutch products worldwide.
