Natalia Jarząbek

Natalia Jarząbek started playing the flute at the age of 12 in the class of Wieslaw Surulo and Marta Murzyn ((L. Różycki Primary Music School in Myślenice). Afterwards she studied at the Academy of Music in Kraków with Barbara Świątek-Żelazna. She also studied as an Erasmus student at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar with Wally Hase.

Her musical talent and artistic personality were noticed during national and international competitions such as the flute competition of the British Flute Society, Benelux flute competition, Michał Spisak International Music Competition and the Stockholm International Music Competition.Natalia took part in various master classes and worked with world-renowned musicians and conductors such as William Bennett, Denis Bouriakov, James Galway and Steven Isserlis. In recognition of her artistic achievements, she received multiple grants from, among others, the Polish Ministry of culture and heritage (Młoda Polska 2015), the Polish Ministry of science and higher education and the city of Krakow. In 2015 Natalia worked as a solo flutist for the cd project of the Polish jazz musician and Grammy Award winner Włodek Pawlik. She also plays regularly with different orchestras such as Sinfonietta Cracovia, Kalisz Philharmony Orchestra Concertino and Philharmonisches Kammerorchester Wernigerode. She also performed as a soloist with these orchestras. Since 2010 she is supported by the Pro Musica Bona Foundation. This gives her the opportunity to act on the one hand as a soloist and as an Orchestra musician and, on the other hand, to participate in various cd projects. As a soloist she gave concerts in France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine, Slovakia and several Polish concert halls.
