Korinne Marie Smith
In 2015, Korinne Marie Smith devoted a study to common psychological problems among older amateur flutists that resulted in a lecture entitled: The Senior Adult Amateur Flutist: Common Physical Problems and Proposed Pedagogical Solutions. We are very happy that Korinne will present this lecture during our 15th Flute Festival!
Korinne Smith is a flutist and teacher in Rochester, NY. She has held teaching positions at various institutions specializing in flute pedagogy of all levels. She currently serves on the NFA Pedagogy Committee. Her full-time commitment is serving as the Northeast Regional Sales Manager and Flute Product Specialist for Eastman Music Company, the parent company of the William S. Haynes Flute Company.
