Eugenie van der Grinten

Eugénie studied flute at the Maastricht Conservatory with Jo Verboeket. After that she studied with Abbie de Quant in Amsterdam and Maxence Larrieu in Paris and Nice

Eugenie van der Grinten is an excellent flute teacher. She used to teach at the conservatories in Zwolle, Alkmaar and Maastricht.
She was a member of the Gemini Ensemble and toured with this chamber music ensemble through The Netherlands, but also in Belgium, Germany, France, Italy and the US.
The Gemini Ensemble recorded many albums, from which the CD "Chansons Classiques" with French singer Philippe Elan was awarded with an Edison.
Eugenie played principal flute at the Westerkerk Bachorchestra in Amsterdam and gave master classes in The Netherlands and Italy.
Most recently, she founded the ensemble "Il Terzetto" together with (alto-) and violinists Martin Veeze and Gijs van der Grinten, respectively her husband and twin brother.

At the 11th Flute Festival masterclasses for flutists in the 40+ category. The repertoire is free to choose.
