The festival is traditionally used by many providers of oboes, English horns (alto oboes), sheet music, and accessories to promote their products at a large exhibition. This exhibition is free to all festival visitors.

Howarth

Howarth of London is a renowned maker and retailer of woodwind instruments. Worldwide, we are known for crafting some of the finest oboes, oboes d’amore, and English horns. Each instrument is meticulously crafted in our state-of-the-art workshop in Worthing, West Sussex.

We combine high-tech CNC machinery to manufacture precision components, which are then hand-assembled by our skilled and experienced technicians to create beautiful, world-class instruments.

Thore

The precision and elegance of woodwind instruments manufactured in the musical regions of Kraslice, Prague, and Budapest are renowned worldwide. A long and unique tradition of craftsmanship, stretching back centuries, laid the strong foundation for the establishment of the new European brand THORE – Woodwind Instruments Kraslice-Prague-Budapest in 1998.

F. Lorée

F. Lorée is the oldest house specialized in the manufacture of oboes. For four generations, it has also been a family business bringing together passionate individuals with the same goal: meeting the needs of musicians around the world. In addition to professional oboes, they produce student oboes under the name Cabart74. They use the most advanced machinery to achieve the highest quality and finish. Lorée oboes are played by top musicians worldwide.

Bulgheroni

The Bulgheroni company was founded in 1947 by Luigi Bulgheroni and originally produced various woodwind and brass instruments. Gradually, however, the company specialized in oboes. Bulgheroni now produces a range of semi-professional and professional oboes, as well as English horns and oboes d’amore.

Buffet Crampon

Buffet Crampon is deeply rooted, through its history and name, in the tradition of manufacturing top-of-the-range wind instruments.

Since 1825, the brand has developed around exceptional craftsmanship in instrument making. This heritage remains the guarantee of the recognition of our products as “Made in France” and “Made in Germany.”

Rigoutat

Rigoutat, a renowned French brand, is known for its oboes and English horns. The family business, founded in 1922 by Charles Rigoutat in Paris, relocated to Joinville-le-Pont in 1968. Rigoutat produces semi-automatic and full-automatic oboes made from ebony, played by renowned musicians such as Maurice Bourgue and Heinz Holliger. In 2019, the brand was acquired by the Buffet Crampon Group, contributing to Rigoutat's further growth and recognition.

Marigaux

For more than 85 years the name Marigaux has been synonymous with those of the greatest oboe players, its reputation ever continuing to assert itself. At present Marigaux is a benchmark in the field of sound throughout the world. It is exported to over 60 countries and is played in the most renowned orchestras worldwide. This success is a result of combining the talents of our specialist technicians with that of musicians.

Reed Machines

All Reed Machines products have the same unique modular design. You don't need separate machines for different reed types. Within your instrument group you can use one base machine with different reed related sets. Due to the modular design, tight tolerances and ease of use you can change over between reed types, or change wear parts, in minutes without losing the necessary high quality. Our products are designed to serve you.

Curbelo Reeds specializes in high-quality oboe reeds tailored to each player's unique needs. What sets the brand apart is a deep commitment to customization, going beyond the standard one-size-fits-all approach to craft reeds that match the oboist’s specific preferences and playing style. Trusted by both professional and amateur oboists, Curbelo Reeds is dedicated to supporting the musical journey of its clients with reliable reeds that maximize artistic development. Egge Verlag

Egge-Verlag was founded in 1998 with the goal of providing substantial literature for oboe instruction at moderate prices and in high-quality print.

As our oboe duets and trios were warmly received by teachers and students, Egge-Verlag was soon able to expand its publications to include woodwind chamber music and bassoon literature.

Paul van der Linden

Paul exclusively builds baroque oboes and regularly performs as a baroque oboist in various baroque orchestras. Additionally, he leads the organization of the Baroque Orchestra Florilegium Musicum, which specializes in choir accompaniment and performs approximately 20-25 concerts each year. His long-standing collaboration with Piet Dhont, a leading figure in historical oboe making, has provided Paul with valuable insights and inspiration that continue to enrich his work.
