Drumkits
The drummer provides the heartbeat within a band. To convey that heartbeat, a drummer needs a lot of gear. Here you will find good beginner sets so you can start rocking right away. A drum kit comes standard with hardware. Sometimes a drum kit also includes cymbals. If you're looking for the next step, or if you already have the hardware, check out our shell sets.
The standard equipment of a drum kit consists of:
- Bass drum, snare drum, floor tom, 1 or 2 tom toms
- Hi-hat stand, 1 or 2 cymbal stands, snare stand
- Drum pedal
At Adams, a drum kit is always indicated by the bass drum size, tom sizes, floor tom size, and snare drum size. So a 22", 10", 12", 16", 14" set has a 22" bass drum, 10" and 12" rack toms, a 16" floor tom, and a 14" snare drum. The sizes of the drum kit are followed by whether the set includes cymbals. A drum throne is not included with a drum kit.
