1st International Brass Festival Spain

15 Juni 2015

From July 27th till 31st 2015 the International Brass Festival Spain will take place in Buñol (Valencia). The event takes place for the first time, and the organization managed to present a very high-class roster of educators.

Initiator Angel Serrano (Symphonic Orchestra of Barcelona) is one of the trumpet teachers this week. He’s proud to present top Spanish musicians to teach on trombone (Daniel Perpinan Sanchis), French horn (Juan Manuel Gómez González), and tuba & euphonium (Josep Burguera Riera). Besides this, two highly acclaimed international artists are coming to Buñol in July. Willem van der Vliet, former solo trumpet Dutch Radio Philharmonic and one of the most asked educators in Europe, will be in Buñol the whole week. From 29th till 31st also Guido Segers (solo trumpet Munich Philharmonic) will complete the list of educators of the festival.

Test instruments
Next to all lessons and concerts, the festival also presents a small exhibition of Adams Brass instruments. On 29th and 30th Miel Adams will be in Buñol to present a range of trumpets, flugelhorns, cornets, euphoniums and tubas. Of course the instruments can be tested during the event. Also in the several masterclasses given during those days.

Play music and enjoy Buñol
Buñol in the province of Valencia, is a beautiful town along the Buñol River and is surrounded by the mountain ranges La Sierra de Las Cabrillas, la Sierra de Dos Aguas and la Sierra de Malacara y Martés. The town has an extremely rich musical culture, and is also famous for the yearly event La Tomatina, where thousands of people gather in the Plaza and throw metric tons of over ripe tomatoes at each other. Without any doubt the beautiful town with its warm and friendly vibe, will be a great scenery for a summer music festival.

The 1st International Brass Festival Spain is hosted by Adams Musical Instruments and S.M. La Artística de Buñol.
