Inge Peters (1988) received her preparatory training in bassoon at the Municipal Academy of Beringen with Filip Neyens and Bert Helsen (both National Orchestra of Belgium) respectively.
She graduated from the Lemmens Institute in Leuven with Dirk Noyen. For her MaNaMa education, specializing in chamber music, she also studied at the Conservatory of Maastricht with Albrecht Holder, Valentino Zucchiatti and Jean Hellenbrand (contra bassoon).
Over the years, Inge attended several masterclasses for both bassoon and contrabassoon.
She works as a freelancer with various orchestras, including the Koninklijke Muntschouwburg, Symphonia Assai, Flanders Symphony Orchestra, South Netherlands Philharmonic, Theater Aachen, Muziekkapel van de Gidsen, Koninklijke Muziekkapel Johan Willem Friso and Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra.
Inge is also a teacher at the Academies of Beringen, Genk and MusArt Hasselt. She has lost her heart to the chamber music repertoire. She is a regular guest with several ensembles in Belgium and the Netherlands, and an active member of Wind Ensemble Zuiderwind.
