Griego

Griego Mouthpieces is a family-owned company who manufactures and designs a complete line of performance equipment for commercial, orchestral and jazz musicians. Griego Mouthpieces was founded by Christan Griego in 2001 to better serve trombone players. Experiencing many issues with mouthpieces himself, Christian started to experiment with making mouthpieces after finding two antique trombones in an antique storehouse. These two old trombones had unique mouthpieces that intrigued him and were the start of creating his first two tenor mouthpieces, the 5 and 4.5 large shank tenor mouthpieces. These two models have quickly grown into a tenor, bass, small bore trombone mouthpiece line. To better serve the bass trombonists and give them a mouthpiece with the correct size, the Griego bass trombone mouthpiece line sizes are a lot closer together in dimension than lines of other companies. These unique sizes enable almost everyone to find a suitable mouthpiece that fits them well. Nowadays, Griego is still committed to design and produce the best equipment possible, with mouthpieces for tenor- and bass trombones and trumpets. Adams offers an extensive range of Griego trombone mouthpieces, which can be tested in the shops in Ittervoort (NL) and Lummen (BE).
