Min Chung Ko

Min Chung Ko is born in Taiwan. He studied with Professor Fu Hsuan Duan and got his master’s degree from Chinese Culture University.   He also studied with Floyd Cooley, Chien Hsun Chen,  Hai Hsin Tseng and Ching Wei Hsin.

 

Min Chung has won many prizes, including first prize at 2007 Taiwan music competition (tuba), first prize at 2005-2007 Taiwan music Competition (brass quintet), third prize at 2010 Jeju international brass competition (brass quintet), and second prize at 2014 Zhejiang Province Music and dance competition (tuba).

Currently, Mr. Ko is the Principal Tuba of Zhejiang Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Tuba Teacher of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and Music Middle School Affiliated to The Zhejiang Conservatory of Music.
