The Adams Vibraphones are available in three versions, all featuring
3 octave range, and 3.1 octave range with precision graduated Adams aluminum
alloy, nickel anodized bars. Our Vibraphone produces a beautiful tone
of unmatched quality, perfectly balanced throughout the instruments entire
range. Its motor and drive belts are completely enclosed within the end
cap of the instrument, providing both easy access to its top mounted controls,
and excellent protection from the elements. A new, patented, Adams fan
system drives the fans directly from the side, and the instrument’s 12
volt motor runs from a completely safe 110 or 220 volt power adapter,
totally eliminating the possibility of any electrical hazard and offering
the player freedom from incompatible (European/Asian) power sources as
well as limited access or no access to stage outlets.

The motor speed is fully adjustable from 25 to 150 rpm. The speed is
digital readable and offers easily accessible switches allowing the player
to choose whether the fans stop in either the open or closed position.
A newly advanced, foot operated precision dampening mechanism, offering
full pedal tension, damper, and height adjustments, allowing each player
to custom configure the feel of the instrument to their exact playing
style. The damper also utilizes a new supreme quality felt material to
achieve true silent damping. All resonator tubes are fully welded to eliminate
all unwanted noises, and are beautifully finished in a durable grey powder
coat finish. All models offer all the features above differing only in
a choice of different frame systems.

Orchestra Bells / Glockenspiel
The new Adams Artist and Concert Series Round Top Parsifal Bells are
made of high quality steel that have been custom formulated especially
for Adams. The bells exactly match the specifications of the 'ground top
Deagan Parsifal bells' which many international musicians feel set the
standard for quality and sound. Adams has designed the new bells with
the right timbre, resonance and tone that match the characteristics of
the 1920'fs American sound. The Artist Series GAV33 and GAF33 feature
a 3.3 octave (C-E) range including a reversible damper pedal, Nickel Plated
Steel resonators and Adams' Patented Height Adjustable Voyager or Field
Frame.
The Concert Series GCV33 and GCF33 feature a 3.3 octave (C-E) range including
Powder Coated Steel Resonators and Adams' Patented Height Adjustable Voyager
or Field Frame. The advantage of a Voyager/Field frame over a case is
that a case will always give a noise that is amplified by the sound box.
Placing the bells on a Voyager/Field frame will therefore be a convenient
and mobile solution. All bars are plated with the highest quality satin
nickel, which prevents any bright glare under stage lighting. Another
major Artist Series feature is the Patent Pending Reversible Damper System.
This system allows the notes to be easily and effectively pedal dampened
like a vibraphone or reverse-depending on the player's preference.

"The new Adams Artist Model Glock has opened up a whole new world
of musical possibilities for the orchestral glockenspiel. Finally, somebody
has combined the best attributes of vintage bells with "state of
the art" features. This instrument is the perfect combination of
top quality, great-sounding steel bars with resonators, an extended range,
reversible damper pedal system all on a height adjustable frame. Its sound
is comparable to my Deagan Roundtops, but easier to play. The extended
range means no more octave shifts! The reversible damper pedal allows
for some interesting new approaches to the standard bell repertoire. This
feature is especially helpful when performing parts intended originally
for keyboard Glock. (Messiaen, Dukas) It's the instrument of choice, whether
your an established pro or just starting out." Sam Bacco
- Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Nashville Recording Studios
"I’ve successfully received my new marimba, xylo and glock
and have to make a point of saying that they are world class. I am extremely
pumped up. In particular, the glock is like a Ferrari, just miles and
leagues ahead of any other glock out there. No contest. It is the one
instrument I purchased sight-unseen, and it is totally outrageous. Amazing".
Matthew Duvall-Eighth Blackbird
"The big Adams glock is an ideal instrument for the kind of music
I am playing with NEXUS. The unique quality of sound is reminiscent of
the classic instruments of a bi-gone day which I believe has to do with
the range, metal, tuning, and resonators. The addition of the damper mechanism
allows me to phrase with the vibraphone in ways previously impossible.
If Mozart were alive, he'd call it the "Magic Glock". Garry
