Thomas Reyna

Thomas Reyna is a flutist based in the Netherlands that specialises in historical performance practices of the flute.

He is currently a teacher of flute at De KOM (Nieuwegein) and De VAK (Delft), and conducts Het Haagse Dwarsfluit Ensemble. Thomas is the founder of the Oude Muziekvereniging; a non-profit organisation that supports and produces early music concerts within the Netherlands. With dear colleagues he has co-founded the chamber ensemble Les Musiciens Derrière Les Dunes; a chamber music group that performs unique programmes from the French Baroque. He works closely with his dear colleagues as a board member at the Stichting Nationaal Fluitconcours. Outside of early music Thomas is inspired by working with composers to create new works for modern and historical flutes alike.

Thomas has collaborated with composers such as Laura Agnusdei, Sierra Klingel, Marguerite Brown, Julio Lopez and Benjamin Marx. He can be heard on such recordings as One Gate -  Benjamin Marx (2017), The Grand Tour - Les Musiciens Derrière Les Dunes (2019) and S(lips)tream/Infinite Tube/A Colibrì in your Mouth – Laura Agnusdei (2019).
